Keeping your Shower Grout Clean

Once expertly installed, repaired, cleaned, and sealed by us, here at the Grout Experts, it is vital to the condition of the grout for you to keep up with is maintenance including keeping it clean. You should be making time to pay extra attention to the condition of your gout and should clean your grout on a weekly basis. Below are some tips to help you keep your grout clean!

-          Keep the fan on during and after a shower, and make sure you keep the doors open when you can. Mildew is grouts worst enemy and without proper ventilation in your bathroom, you will be providing a breeding ground for it.

-          After you shower take an extra 2 minutes to wipe down the walls of your shower and the grout to prevent moisture from seeping through.

-          Spray or wipe your shower down once a week with grout cleaner or baking soda, to remove and dirt and debris that might have collected there.

For tougher jobs, where the grout is extremely discolored you should call our experts. Here at the Grout Experts we can help get your shower grout back to its original color and condition!
